SAM: I think this is the best one... minimum furniture.. but did you notice.. its the floor thats making all the difference... wooden flooring for our common areas... which comes to roughly 405 SQ FT... @ min. 140 per SQ FT... do the math... but that could make all the difference. (405 SQ FT is FOYER + HALL + DINING + WASH BASIN AREA)

Cool ones yeah??? real contemporary, look at the ceiling... sama check with fazli if theres anyway to have a false ceiling thats low on maintenence and long lasting.

SAM: The fridge and microwave both integrated along with the cabinets.. thats the way to go ...

KITCHEN MODIFICATION for FRIDGE INSET

Saeed(25/05): One last update... How bout having height variation in shelves (as in the left pic and pics above) and also having the depth of the shelf above fridge same as the depth of the fridge?

Sama finalize today the provision for cosmetic enhances like:

1) lamp hanging from the ceiling on breakfast table

2) spot lights below shelves

3) spot lights inside glass doored shelves

why dont u put it all on a proper acrobat file, which nausheen will use as "the kitchen document" for quote and stuff.

SAM: The creation of the breakfast table in a ISLAND fashion will give a very contemporary look as well as will be very functional. The fridge is roughly 2'9.5" Width x 2'4" Depth.

Looks really cool and is spacious, but white in color! how bout having shelves over the fridge, as in the kitchen pics in other post... what if we cut a part of the slab (granite) on one end (in front of the door) to fit in the fridge??? that would make the fridge part of the kitchen and well integrated into the shelves...

we could also use that part of the slab and convert it as a breakfast table in 'L' shape right next to the fridge, making the 'L' shaped slab into 'C' shape. will it look clogged? pls comment....

6) Nausheens study table (solid wood)?? -- MAYB can be kept in the Guest Bedroom
7) Solid wood (Brown) sofa single chairs (now in the hall down stairs) - could place one in each bedroom?? -- COULD ACTUALLY PLACE IT IN THE FOYER!! its small & cute.
Add more, ones that are placed with question marks (??) needs further discussion...
